Sofia Crokos believes that every moment in life is worth enjoying and celebrating. A luminary in her field, she is more than an event planner: Sofia is a connector, a collaborator, and a creator who continues to push the envelope, effortlessly translating ideas into immersive and truly breathtaking realities. She is inspired by the potential in the unknown and approaches life with curiosity, spirit, and purpose. Sofia is lauded by her clients and network of industry peers alike for her ability to anticipate every need, build deep and personal connections, and elevate the simplest wish into an unforgettable moment.
Raised in Brooklyn, New York in an ebullient Greek family with an appetite for laughter, Sofia’s affection for savoring the good times in life was cultivated at an early age. After a career in fashion, where she honed her visual skills and polished sense of style, Sofia took these principles and now applies them to her art.
A cosmopolitan soul who believes that the best way to immerse yourself in culture is to wander the streets Sofia is continually inspired by the glamour, and drive her hometown of New York City has to offer. She splits her time between the City and the Hamptons, filling her days with impromptu dinners with friends and family at her new Greek restaurant Elaia Estiatorio.
When not at home, she satisfies her insatiable appetite for exploration, traveling the world in search of new restaurants and long beach walks to provide her next great source of inspiration. Based on her passions for all things beautiful and delicious, Sofia continues to curate and brainstorm her yet to be published book.
An educator at heart, Sofia Crokos is offering venue consulting for event venues, hospitality brands, property owners and residential buildings who are seeking the guidance of an experienced event production and design professional with an intimate knowledge of the restaurant and luxury events industry. Kristen Takla seeks adventure and “everyday magic” in life, bringing a creative and whimsical spirit with her when producing at Sofia Crokos Events & Lifestyle. From the initial moments of inspiration to the final execution, she works closely with every client to keep them at ease, excited, and in the know.
Raised in the south, but a New Yorker at heart, Kristen loves to "sip, nibble and giggle" her way around the city. Whether it be, dance parties with her son, a stroll through Central Park with her husband, rooftop drinks with friends, or cultivating her growing love of cooking. Kristen's zest for life is what enables her to accomplish thoughtfully planned events to the very last detail.

Giulia is fueled by her curiosity. She believes that a beautiful event is executed, only when you’ve explored all ideas and have exhausted all of the what-ifs, why nots, and hows. Her passions lie in design & travel. While she’s had the opportunity to explore the world for work and pleasure, Giulia has acquired a heightened palette for textiles, cuisines, music, and overall design.
Giulia began her career in Los Angeles working on the production team for countless Red Carpet Events, including the Emmy Awards and Oscars Governors Ball events. Growing up in a small town on the coast of Lake Erie, surrounded by Italian culture and customs, Giulia’s favorite way to entertain is cooking dinner at home with her Mom – she's learned from the best!

Jennifer Doud is the second set of creative eyes at Sofia Crokos Events & Lifestyle. From curating mood boards to sourcing unique materials, she is dedicated to making sure every detail is in its place on the day of an event. Jennifer specializes in personal and interior styling, which translate seamlessly to event design. Her tireless work ethic is an invaluable component of the Sofia Crokos Events & Lifestyle team, as is her love of fashion, architecture, and rock-n-roll. She is an unrivalled problem-solver, and is invigorated by the opportunity to bring clients’ ideas to life.
A true Midwestern girl, Jennifer is an eternal optimist who always has the windows open, even in the dead of winter. She is endlessly creative and is inspired by her grandfather’s garden and her mother and nana’s well-appointed kitchens. When not working, Jennifer can be found laughing in her own kitchen or planning delightful adventures with her daughter, Coco.
